Projects from across Suffolk and Norfolk

A selection of garden clearances, fencing, landscaping and outdoor improvements completed by East Anglian Gardens.

Garden Clearance in Haughley, Suffolk

This overgrown garden in Haughley needed a complete clearance to bring it back under control. We cut back heavily overgrown hedges and shrubs, cleared dense brambles and vegetation, reduced the laurel to the customer’s requested height and cleared the side access. Green waste was removed by skip before a final strim and tidy throughout the garden.

Garden Clearance in Wattisham, Suffolk

This heavily overgrown garden in Wattisham needed extensive clearance to make the space accessible and manageable again. We cut back long grass and dense vegetation, reclaimed overgrown boundary hedges and beds, removed dead growth and tackled established ivy around the house and boundaries. Work also included removing a front garden tree, clearing vegetation away from the property and carefully reducing growth around overhead service lines. The garden was progressively opened up, shaped and tidied throughout, leaving a much clearer and more manageable space.

Gravel Garden Improvements in Thetford, Norfolk

This garden in Thetford was given a cleaner, lower-maintenance finish with new decorative gravel to the rear and improvements to the existing gravel areas at the front of the property. The work included clearing and preparing the ground, installing membrane where required and laying fresh gravel to create a neat, practical finish throughout. The result was a much tidier outdoor space that's easier to maintain and makes better use of the garden.

Raised Sleeper Bed & Paving in Stowmarket, Suffolk

This garden project in Stowmarket involved creating a new raised sleeper bed and paved area to make better use of the space and add structure to the garden. We prepared the area, installed timber sleepers to form the raised bed and laid new paving alongside it, creating a practical and attractive feature ready for planting. The finished work gives the garden a more defined layout while providing an easy-to-maintain planting area.

Gravel Garden & Raised Bed Restoration in Barham, Suffolk

This project in Barham involved restoring an established gravel garden and raised-bed area that had become heavily overgrown. We removed the old pea shingle and weed membrane from the unfinished areas, thoroughly weeded the raised beds and borders, and prepared and levelled the ground before installing new membrane. New pea shingle was then installed and levelled throughout, followed by a final tidy to leave the beds and surrounding gravel areas clean, defined and much easier to maintain.

Artificial Lawn & Decking Refresh in Stowmarket, Suffolk

This garden in Stowmarket was given a complete refresh to bring the existing outdoor space back to its best. The old artificial grass was removed and replaced with new artificial turf across both lawn areas, while the existing decking was thoroughly cleaned and re-stained to restore its appearance. The paving was pressure washed, and the surrounding areas were tidied as part of the work, leaving the garden looking cleaner, brighter and ready to enjoy again.

Patio Pressure Washing in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk

This existing patio in Bury St. Edmunds had built up dirt, staining and weathering over time, dulling the appearance of the paving. We thoroughly pressure washed the entire patio, removing the accumulated grime and bringing the original colour and finish of the paving back through. The five matched before-and-after views show the difference a thorough clean made across the whole area.

Timber Screening & Pergola in Suffolk

This project involved constructing new horizontal slatted timber screening alongside an existing deck, together with a timber pergola to create a more defined and private garden space. The screening was built on site to suit the available area, with the timberwork tying into the surrounding garden and pergola. The finished structure provides additional privacy and enclosure while retaining an open, natural feel.

Fence Pressure Washing in Onehouse, Suffolk

This timber fence in Onehouse had developed a heavy build-up of dirt, algae and weathering across the surface. We thoroughly pressure washed the fencing to remove the accumulated grime and organic growth, revealing the natural appearance of the timber underneath. A straightforward clean that made a substantial difference to the appearance of the fence.
